Our Simply White daybed is crafted from solid poplar and MDF and accented with drawer pulls finished in zinc. Dark Espresso is crafted from solid Pine and MDF with black hardware. Both finishes are crafted with a kiln-dried wood frame for durability and to prevent bowing and warping. Both finishes are applied by hand in a multi-step process dedication to heirloom-quality furniture. Daybed has a mattress foundation which accommodates most standard mattresses, we do not recommend using a box spring. Headboard and footboard feature our signature beadboard paneling. Add the trundle and trundle mattress (both sold separately) for instant sleepover space. Use with our underbed bins (sold separately) for extra storage beneath the bed. Adjustable side rails let you raise the height to add a trundle. Features casters under the trundle or storage area for easy access. Rigorously tested to meet or exceed all required and voluntary safety standards. We use medium density fiberboard for sustainability and structural integrity.
